Product Information Matisse Background Colours are an all purpose pure acrylic that can be applied to almost any surface. The Background colour will not only cover and create a perfect surface to paint on, but will also seal wood as they have a built in sealer. Background colours dry fast to a matt velvet finish. Background colours can be used as a coloured Gesso (with less tooth than normal gesso). Recommended for Professional & Folk Artists. For background and under painting.
