The range is unique in providing a full palette of colours in Series 1 in 40ml, 120ml and 300ml, which enables students to select a viable range of colours at an economical price without sacrificing the permanency which characterises artists quality colours. The permanence of the binder is as important as the permanence of the pigments used in artists paints. Paintings done with Archival Oils do not become brittle as they age because the oil binder has been modified, using a patented process developed by Chroma. The features of the new Archival include freedom of choice - oils that allows artists to paint in any way they choose, faster painting, oils that dry quickly & have little odour.
