Ordering & Payment

Q1: How do I place an order online at ArtStore Online?
A: Simply browse our collections, add your chosen products to the cart, and proceed to checkout. You can pay securely using credit/debit cards, PayPal, or Zip for eligible orders.

Q2: Can I edit or cancel my order after placing it?
A: Orders can be edited or cancelled within 1 hour of placement. After this, processing begins and changes may not be possible. Please contact our team as soon as possible for assistance.

Q3: Does ArtStore Online offer bulk discounts or wholesale pricing?
A: While we primarily sell retail, we offer occasional bulk discounts on select products. Check individual product pages or contact our team for bulk order enquiries.

Shipping & Delivery

Q4: How long does it take for my order to be dispatched and delivered?
A: Please allow up to 7 business days for dispatch, as we may need to order stock from our suppliers. You will receive an email once your order has shipped. If you require your order urgently, let us know and we’ll endeavour to meet your deadline where possible.

Delivery times vary depending on the service and destination:

Express Post (within Australia): 1–3 working days**
Standard Post (within Australia): 1–7 working days**
Sea Mail (International): 12–15 weeks**
Air Mail (International): 3–12 days**

Please note: We are unable to track parcels sent via standard international Australia Post Air Mail and cannot be held responsible for missing postage. Orders over 100kg require a custom shipping quote — contact us for an estimate prior to ordering.

Exact shipping charges will be calculated at checkout, based on your order and delivery location. All orders are shipped from our Sydney warehouse. For shipping or postal queries, email us or call 1800 99 28 68.

Q5: Can I track my order?
A: Yes! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your parcel online.

Returns & Exchanges

Q6: What is your returns policy?
A: In the unlikely event that goods are faulty, please contact sales@artstoreonline.com.au or call 1800 99 28 68 for assistance.

We do not provide refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

Please note: Due to the large number of products listed on our site, we may not have all items in stock at all times. Please email us to check availability if needed.

Q7: What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
A: Contact our team immediately with photos of the damaged items. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Q8: Which paints are suitable for beginners?
A: Watercolours, acrylics, and water mixable oils are excellent starting points. For beginners, we recommend brands like Winsor & Newton, Michael Harding, and Pebeo, which offer consistent quality and colour performance.

Q9: How do I store brushes and paints correctly?
A: Clean brushes thoroughly after use and store them upright. Keep paints sealed and away from direct sunlight or heat to preserve longevity.

Q10: What’s the difference between artist-grade and student-grade paints?
A: Artist-grade paints have higher pigment concentration, superior lightfastness, and smoother application. Student-grade paints are more affordable but may contain fillers and have slightly lower pigment strength.

Q11: Can I use water mixable oils instead of traditional oils?
A: Yes! Water mixable oils are easier to clean and safer, as they require only water instead of solvents. They behave like traditional oils but are ideal for home use or classroom settings.
