Liquitex Slow-Dri Gel Additive

Liquitex Slow-Dri Gel Additive extends the open time of your gel colour or medium by 40% so it is blendable and workable for longer. It thickens and increases the viscosity of your acrylic paint while maintaining its same level of transparency. It also helps retain brush or knife marks in your artwork.

To use, mix in slowly and thoroughly. Start by adding up to 25% of Slow-dri to your colour or medium with a knife. If you're working over a long period of time, mix into colour directly on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer. As this is an additive – with no acrylic binders - do not add more than 25% to your color/medium and do not mix with other additives. This can cause the acrylic film to break down, leaving it sticky and prone to shrinkage

Liquitex Slow-Dri Gel Additive is fully intermixable with all Liquitex products.
