Sennelier Oil Pastels
Exceptionally smooth, creamy, and intensely pigmented, Sennelier Oil Pastels are the benchmark in professional oil pastels. Developed in 1949 in collaboration with Pablo Picasso, these pastels combine the freedom of paint with the immediacy of a stick, allowing artists to work directly on almost any surface – from paper and gessoed board to metal, glass, canvas, and even wood.
Formulated with the highest pigment load of any oil pastel brand, a pure synthetic binder, and neutral pH wax, Sennelier Oil Pastels deliver unmatched covering power, brilliance, and lightfastness (excluding fluorescent shades). Their unique composition ensures flexibility and durability – colours will not crack or fade, even on non-traditional supports.
The range includes over 110 classic shades, now expanded with metallic, pearlescent, and iridescent tones, plus a refined gradation of greys for a balanced palette. Each stick measures 70 × 10mm and features the new easy “tear-down” wrapper for mess-free use.
